CPR and First Aid Classes

The Algonquin-Lake in the Hills Fire Protection District is pleased to offer CPR/AED classes to the public twice a month. We also offer First Aid Classes. These classes are certified through the American Heart Association.

First Aid Classes
First Aid Classes are offered and the cost is $50. Classes are held on Saturdays from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. (class dates are not held monthly, please see dates available here).

BLS - Provider (Healthcare Classes)

"Healthcare" classes are designed for providers in the healthcare industry. The cost for this is $60. Classes are held on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Click here to see which Healthcare Provider classes are available and to register for classes.

Heartsaver-AED Classes

"Heartsaver" classes are for the general public and the cost for the class is $60. Classes are held on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Click here to see which Heartsaver-AED CPR classes are available and to register for classes.

Class Fees

 All fees must be paid at the time of registration as our class size is limited. We accept cash or check as forms of payment; you may also pay by credit card by going through ePay online payment center.  We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express Credit Cards.   Students wishing to cancel class reservations 48 hours or less will be issued credit towards a future class. There will be no refunds given for cancellations occurring 48 hours or less before a class.

American Heart Association

The American Heart Association (AHA) strongly promotes knowledge and proficiency in all AHA courses and has developed instructional materials for this purpose. Use of these materials in an educational course does not represent course sponsorship by the AHA. Any fees charged for such a course, except for a portion of fees needed for AHA course materials, do not represent income to the AHA.
